World AIDS Day

Information:

For fourth annual World AIDS Day events at UCLA, art and culture play a pivotal role. After participating in the procession and rally at Bruin Plaza, attend workshops on how to get involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS, and get inspired by performances and visual pieces by artist activists at Glorya Kaufman Dance Theater.

11:30am: processional
noon: campuswide rally, Bruin Plaza
1-5pm: Community and Campus-based HIV/AIDS workshops, "AIDS and the Moving Image 2" at the Instructional Media Lab

Co-Sponsored by the Fowler Museum; Hammer Museum; UCLA AIDS Institute; Art|Global Health Center at UCLA; Artists for a New South Africa; UCLA Film & Television Archive, Research and Study Center; and UCLA Instructional Media Collection and Services.

*World AIDS Day is officially on December 1st but the UCLA community will hold its events a day early this year.
