UPSTARTS SERIES

WAC MFA candidates conclude their graduate studies through either a final performance on campus or the completion of a portfolio of works produced at various venues in Los Angeles and beyond.

This year D. Sabela Grimes, Hana Van Der Kolk, and Sara Wookey are completing portfolios, while Waewdao Sirisook and Kingsley Irons will present culminating concerts at UCLA.

Christine Suarez will present her final MFA project, Wet Spots, May 30 and 31 at the Venice Beach Eco
Cottages, 447 Grand Blvd.

Wet Spots is a blend of dances, mini-plays, audio installations, and food, all performed in one night in
